Mt. Fuji & Bridge Scene by Hiroshige
Japanese woodblock print by Hiroshige.
Possibly the Edo Bridge with travelers crossing in the rain.
This is an older strike of the woodblock. It was purchased as part of a
set with a cover. On the back of each folded mat is a small sticker,
Bunka Nippon Sha, No. 12, 1-Chome, Kamiuma-Cho, Setagaya-Ku, Tokyo,
Japan. Photo 3 is of the back side of the print, and photo's 3 - 4
are of the first page and cover of the binder (does not come with the
print unless all three are
purchased together).

Woodblock print of
“Seba” by Hiroshige
Japanese woodblock print by Hiroshige,
“Seba” number 32 from the series “69 Stations of Kisokaido”. Published
1834-1892 by Takenouchi Hoedo. This woodblock was considered to be one
of Hiroshige’s masterpieces. A river scene with two men poling along
under a moon obscured by a willow tree.
This is an older strike of the woodblock. It was purchased as part of a
set with a cover. On the back of each folded mat is a small sticker,
Bunka Nippon Sha, No. 12, 1-Chome, Kamiuma-Cho, Setagaya-Ku, Tokyo,
Japan. Photo 3 shows the back side of the print. The other
two photos are of the front of the binder and the back of the interior
pages (does not come with the print unless all three are purchased
together).

Print “Kambana” by Hiroshige
Japanese woodblock print by Hiroshige, “Kambana” number 16 from the
series “53 Stations of Tokaido”. Published 1831-1834 by Takenouchi
Magohachi (Hoeido). This woodblock is a good snow scene and considered
to be one of the masterpieces of this series. A winter snow scene with
three people walking, one has an umbrella.
This is an older strike of the woodblock. It was purchased as part of a
set with a cover. On the back of each folded mat is a small sticker,
Bunka Nippon Sha, No. 12, 1-Chome, Kamiuma-Cho, Setagaya-Ku, Tokyo,
Japan. Photo 3 is of the back of the print. The other two
photos are of the front cover of the binder in which the set was
enclosed (does not come with the print unless all three are purchased
together).
